The next morning, Annie has seemingly left the manor, and Ran-Mao is invited to Chris' bedroom and subsequently captured.[362][363]
      • The next night, Mey-Rin searches for Ran-Mao and discovers that the manor is one of the blood suppliers of Undertaker and "Ciel".[364] She finds Ran-Mao and is attacked by Jane[365] who reveals herself to be a security-guard-for-hire.[366]

There, they are allowed to take the special test to see whether they are fit for the orphanage's "family."[372] They also have to undergo a blood test; when it bears "inappropriate" results, Finnian and Snake are almost thrown out but are saved by a revived Doll.[373] While she shows them around, Doll collapses and hides in a stall so that nobody sees her darkened, visible veins.[374] Shortly afterward, the staff announces that Ginny has reached her "fledging day."[375]

  • 8/9: At night, Baldroy goes to confront Ada. She tells him about her past[385] and how she ended up working with the Aurora Society. Because of the Society's ever-rising blood supply demands, she decides to change sides and tells Baldroy that tomorrow will be the next blood collection.[386] Baldroy goes and gets some pigs to slaughter; he fills the vials for the collection with their blood.[387]
  • 9: The chief,[388] Susan,[389] and Snake[390] die.
    • While Finnian and the elder students search the stables for a secret entrance,[391][note 7] Snake discovers them. Soon, the chief, Susan, and another maid arrive[393] but leave without noticing Snake, Finnian, and the elder students. However, their conversation reveals F.O.L. Orphanage to be a special testing facility for the Aurora Society.[394]
    • Snake, Finnian, and the elder students take a few jars with them as evidence. On their way out, they stumble over a room where Doll is receiving a blood transfusion;[395] this exposes her as "Canopus." • Ada helps Baldroy sabotage the blood collection.[400][401]
    • Layla, a Bizarre Doll,[402] stabs Baldroy for meddling and leaves him to die[403] before she goes to attack Lau. In the resulting fight, she is injured by Baldroy and flees.[404] Fortunately, Ada can save Baldroy with a blood transfusion.[405] The process and technology greatly fascinate Lau who offers Ada to protect her from the Aurora Society in Shanghai if she works for him; the sanatorium patients can come too. Ada gratefully accepts.[406]
    • Meanwhile, Ronald catches Layla.[407] It comes to a fight between them, and Ronald nearly loses because Layla and her second personality Al use strange scissors that can incapacitate Death Scythes. William arrives on time though[408] and knocks out Layla/Al. Afterward, they bring her and the scissors to the Dispatch to be examined.[409]

To facilitate the extensive process of revising all articles in Kuroshitsuji Wiki, we will focus on one aspect at a time. We will focus on the manga and all elements associated with it (i.e. characters and chapters). This template is to serve as a warning: pages/sections marked with this template, ranging from the anime characters, episodes, OVAs, musicals, songs, and out-of-the-universe information, will not be our priority; thus, they may not be up-to-date, substantiated, or thoroughly cleaned as of yet.

Notes

  1. Undertaker states that he has not been called a Grim Reaper in "half a century" in April 1889. It is, thus, likely that he successfully deserted about 50 years ago, and that his attempt 70 years ago failed.
  2. In 1889, Baldroy says it is his "third time" celebrating Halloween in the UK. This means he joined the Phantomhive household in 1887.
    (Chapter 120, page 9)
  3. The incident, apparently, happens after the employment of Mey-Rin and Baldroy as Tanaka has already returned by then.
    (Chapter 96.5, page 25)
  4. The murder occurs about two weeks before Ciel's dinner party. The event, thus, either happens in late February or early March.
    (Chapter 49, page 36)
  5. The following dates are calculated back from a date (December 9) given in Chapter 209. (page 13)
  6. It is unknown how much time has passed between Mey-Rin and Ran-Mao's employment and Chris' return. Because they cannot be assigned to their correct dates, the following bullet points are, thus, bundled below.
  7. Finnian leaves to meet the elder students right before midnight on the 8th; the subsequent events occur on the 9th.
