Polaris is one of the "stars" and foremost agents working for "Ciel Phantomhive" and Undertaker. Additionally, he is a butler.

Character Outline

Polaris wears a black robe and black gloves, and keeps his features hidden.

Polaris is a volatile, temperamental individual. For instance, after reporting to "Ciel Phantomhive" and Undertaker about the destruction of their blood factory in the north at Heathfield Manor, he vehemently threw a fit, lashed out at his environment, and stabbed at the ground with a knife while threatening to slay their "worthless" henchmen for their blood.

Moreover, Polaris prides himself in being a butler and is most terrified of losing "Ciel", to whom he is staunchly devoted.

History

Polaris, along with others in black robes, occasionally visited Heathfield Manor late at night. Abbie escorted them to the basement so they could check on the blood factory.

Plot

Blue Revenge Arc

With Sphere Music Hall in stiff competition with Funtom Music Hall, Polaris and his comrades, Canopus and Vega, speak to Blavat Sky while Lord Sirius stays silent. Polaris tells Blavat that, should Lord Sirius fall, he will take action, for he is a butler.

After Sphere Music Hall ceases operations, Polaris assists in collecting blood for "Ciel Phantomhive" by other covert means and via business trips.

One day, at Phantomhive Manor, Polaris enters "Ciel"'s bedchamber and informs both "Ciel" and Undertaker that the blood factory in the north at Heathfield Manor has been dismantled and that Chris Heathfield has been taken into custody.

Polaris cries to "Ciel Phantomhive".

"Ciel" is gleeful that his little brother has won the first round of their "first serious fight." In response, Polaris screams that "Ciel" should not be pleased. He throws a fit, saying that they cannot afford to run out of "radiance" for "Ciel" and that those working for them are worthless and should have been slain for their blood. While stabbing at the ground with a knife, he asserts that he will turn them all into "minced meat."

"Ciel" tells Polaris that the title "Lord Sirius" belongs to his little brother now, and the latter apologizes. "Ciel" then notes that the shivering Polaris is pale and that, while it is easy to collect fresh blood for him, he cannot function for too long without it. After "Ciel" dismisses him for the day, Polaris, while weeping, confesses that he is terrified of losing his master again, for he is "a butler, even in death."
