Kuroshitsuji Wiki has a number of policies that serve to ensure proper conduct on the site. They are applied to all members, without exception.
By browsing and/or editing Kuroshitsuji Wiki, it is assumed that you have read the policies and Manual of Style, and are committed to abiding by them. They will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply will result in a warning or ban, depending on the severity of the matter.
Updates to the policies will be applied retroactively. Any issues not explicitly stated in the policies will be left to the discretion of the staff. Please note that several policies apply across all of Fandom.
Should you quote, paraphrase, and/or copy verbatim the policies, you must properly credit Kuroshitsuji Wiki.

Rules and Regulations
The rules and regulations encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Be civil.
- Be civil, courteous, and respectful to your fellow members at all times.
2. Listen to the staff.
- The staff has the final say in any dispute.
- Do not impersonate the staff and/or mini-mod.
3. No toxicity.
- Discrimination, harassment, victimization, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, racism, threats, abuse, toxicity, trolling, hostility, aggression, malice, bullying, provocation, persecution, hateful speech and imagery, derogatory language, and/or disruptive behavior in any form is unacceptable, and will warrant an immediate ban.
- Do not spam or raid.
- Do not share links to malicious or questionable websites, videos, etc.
- Do not steal or take credit for others’ intellectual property, including artwork. Always credit your sources when applicable, especially via references.
- Do not emotional-dump or trauma-dump. Refrain from sharing personal information.
- Steer clear of contentious issues such as religion and politics.
- Append content warnings when applicable.
4. No NSFW.
- Do not share gory, violent, adult, sensitive, and/or potentially disturbing or distressing content.
5. No solicitations or advertisements.
- Do not solicit personal information, DMs, votes, views, clicks, comments, favors, products, services, roles, gifts, money, special attention, or anything of that nature.
- Do not advertise or self-advertise products, services, or businesses of any kind.
6. No bad-faith edits or posts.
- Acts of vandalism, destruction, and defacement, such as arbitrarily removing properly written content and inserting nonsense, are prohibited.
- Acts of edit-warring, impersonation, plagiarism, and sockpuppetry are prohibited.
- When writing posts or messages, stay on-topic. Adhere to the Discussions Guidelines.
7. Write in English.
- All edits and posts must be written in English.
8. Hold yourself accountable.
- Take responsibility for your words and actions.
- Pleading ignorance after deliberately violating the rules will not work.

Community Policy

There are two main facets of Kuroshitsuji Wiki:

The Content encompasses, but is not limited to, the following:
- Mainspace
- Pages/articles
- Subpages
- Categories
- Templates
- Images

The Community encompasses, but is not limited to, the following:
The Community Policy serves to further specify the rules and regulations that the Community must abide by:
- Any and all discussions, posts, and messages must adhere to the policies, be inherently civil, and be written in English.
- Posts must not be altered for the purposes of whitewashing self-incriminating content, or to deliberately frame the other party in a bad light.
- Do not necropost. Posts that are inactive for two weeks or more are considered closed.
- Threads that are excessively lengthy will be closed.
- Personal and/or off-topic conversations are discouraged and will be closed if they continue.
- Duplicate posts are prohibited.
- Shipping, headcanon, and OC posts are prohibited.
- Role-playing is prohibited.
Talk Pages
Talk Pages are reserved for discussions regarding the maintenance and accuracy of their respective articles (e.g. grammatical errors, layout issues, renaming requests, etc.). Posts should be signed with four tildes (~~~~), or by clicking the signature button. Each discussion topic should be paired with an appropriately and concisely named heading. General conversations, comments, and questions belong in Discussions.
Discussions
Discussions has its own set of Guidelines that must be obeyed on top of existing policies. Please keep in mind that Discussions is a space reserved for discussing the wiki's topic and/or the wiki itself (read more here). It is not comparable to a standard social media platform, and it should not be treated as such.
Profiles
All registered users of Kuroshitsuji Wiki are automatically given their own Profile.
- Your Profile must adhere to the policies.
- Editing another user's Profile without express permission from said user are grounds for a block.
- Making a list of users you dislike or wish to discredit on your Profile is prohibited.
Message Walls
All registered users of Kuroshitsuji Wiki are automatically given their own Message Wall.
- Your messages must adhere to the policies.
- Your messages must be relevant to the Kuroshitsuji series and/or the wiki.
- Personal and/or off-topic conversations are discouraged and will be closed if they continue.
- Message Walls are not comparable to a standard social media platform, and they should not be treated as such.
Blocking Policy
The staff has the ability to block users from editing Kuroshitsuji Wiki for the purposes of:
- Deterring bad conduct
- Curbing and preventing vandalism, harassment, spamming, trolling, incivility, edit-warring, personal attacks, and/or violations to the wiki's policies in any and all forms
- Promoting a productive editing environment
Deliberate destruction or defacement of an article, or other severe offenses, will result in an immediate block. For smaller offenses, the staff will issue a warning on the offender's Message Wall. If the warning goes unheeded and there is a repeat offense, the offender will be blocked.
The duration of the block is entirely at the staff's discretion. Generally, for severe offenses, the offender will be permanently banned.
