Overview

Tagline: The ghost is here to stay. (幽霊はここに滞在することです。 Yūrei hakokoni taizai surukotodesu.)

The player controls either Ciel Phantomhive or Sebastian Michaelis in a choose-your-own adventure-esque game, where players can choose from various dialogue options throughout the game. It is the player's job to solve puzzles and mini-games in the adventure mode to gain special items.[1]

The story is original and takes place between Chapter 13 and Chapter 14. The Phantomhive household are sent to visit Rose Manor, an estate in the luxurious resort town of Brighton, by Queen Victoria because of the recent sightings of ghosts on the property, which she would like him to resolve.[2] Manga creator Yana Toboso oversaw the story and created new characters for the game.[3]
