Heathfield Manor is the primary base of operations of Baron Heathfield.
Overview[]
Geography[]
The manor is located 211 miles (approx. 340 km) north of London in North Yorkshire.[1] It was built fairly remotely on top of a hill.[2]
Structure[]
Heathfield Manor is a four-story building, excluding the attic and basement.
The master bedroom is the farthest room on the 3rd floor of the west tower. There, a secret basement can be accessed through an entrance hidden by a bookshelf. This secret basement houses machinery and rows of hospital beds which are inhabited by the "vanished" maids. They have been put into a comatose state to drain them of their blood.[3]
Rules and organisation[]
Those employed at the manor receive notably better treatment than at others. Servants are given three meals a day, are allowed to take a bath every two days, and on their days off, they may go to town. Nighttime peace begins at 10 pm.[4]
Heathfield Manor, due to its massive size, is always short on servants.[5] Currently, about 35 servants are employed there; of them, fewer than twenty are maids.[6] Some of these maids are former nurses who used to work at Karnstein Hospital.[7]
Uniform[]
Maids wear dark blue dresses and white aprons with lace trimmings. They also wear a bonnet with frills.[8]
