in what order should i watch the seasons and the arcs and the thingys? idk which ones i should watch first and which ones later
also dont kill me but i hate grell
i have a strong feeling that its a girl....... but please tell me once you've managed to take a closer look at it.
Which episode do Hannah and Claude happen? I saw it in the trailer, but I can't find the episode.
Just completed the first season. I must say... Episode 24 had quite an impact on me. Staring off with the second Season I come to that i first face here is quite a Jerk. But who am I to judge. Shouldn't be too quick to judge either. *menacing laughter* (ʘ‿ʘ)
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN BOOK OF MURDER, WHY ARE YOU HERE?! GO WATCH IT THEN COME BACK, YOU NINCOMPOOP.
Has anyone seen the new Book of Murder episodes. So many plot twists and turns where happening that it was like a maze! It was causing me to jump off the walls and celling from the thrills, mystery, and excitement. Of course, I almost bashed my computer against the wall about a thousand times over when Sebastian died. I was like "SEBASTIANISADEMONHECANTDIEHEHASACONTRACTWITHCIELTHATHECANTBREAK *Deep breath* UNTILCIELGETSWHATHEWANTSANDOHMYGODWHYWRITERSWHY?!"
So, yeah, what are your thoughts on Black Butler: Book of Murder? I honestly LOVE IT TO THE DEATH.
Long story short! kuroshitsuji stopped at book of murder and i was wondering whether they will make more episodes
ok im kind of confused because i thinked there would be even something about ceil being a demon in season 3
I can't find news anywhere, it just gives me streaming sites. Do any of you know some news on a new Kuro season?
P.S- Why in hell isn't Book of Circus and Book of Murder on Netflix?!
What did sebastian ACTUALLY do to that nun? im curious, probably too curious for that matter.

Wow. Woooooooooooooooooow.
What can I say, folks, this has been a long journey. Long, as in ten stunning episodes since July 11 - well, the first episode sort of rode the "meh" train (can't stop making train references now), but the whole season was still an emotional rollercoaster. 'Twas an unforgettable adventure, and I'll always look back on this and proudly declare that the animators truly stuck to the manga material. One of the best arcs in the series beautifully played out.
(Anyone else a little iffy about how this ended on the 46th episode - I mean, I like solid numbers like "25" or "45" or "50" but 46...:/)
Well, here is the last episode discussion for a while. (And by a while, I mean next month but I'll try to steer clear of getting side-tracked and continue going in the direction I'm heading. Again the train references.)
(Another note is that I unfortunately don't have a lot of screenshots to amp up the post this time - was too busy for that. Sorry, kurowikians!)
The tenth and final episode of the third and best season of the Kuroshitsuji anime. I was so, so excited to watch this even though I knew that practically everything is wrapped up already - all the action is gone, and the only thing left is painful goodbyes.
First is Joker. Is my poor heart not already in fragments??
The episode opens with Joker's quiet monologue just preceding his death, on how they suffered in the East End. They were all "incomplete" - aw God, that's so sad :( - and 'cuz of their deformities, they were abandoned and thrown in the gutters. They could only depend on each other. The storekeeper guy that beat the crap out of Joker without paying heed to the fact that Joker has no right arm - I hope he can see the huge middle finger coming from kuro fans worldwide.
One day while they were hiding from a storm, Kelly stepped out of his carriage to help them. He took them to his orphanage - the Renbourn Workhouse - where he raised them along with the other kids.
Poor tiny Dagger couldn't walk so he couldn't play with the other kids but thanks to kind Joker, Jumbo carried him to play with 'em. Joker is seriously the best big bro there is. He sat with Beast - or should I say Maaaaally ooooh - and then there's a close-up of their hands nearly touching. (Joker x Mally > Joker x Beast; Mally's a cuter name and it fits her, though she did kind of grow up to be a "beast" in terms of...well, you know.)
I dunno why but in the manga I was struck by feels when Joker just calmly and peacefully commented 'bout the nice breeze - and the same thing happened again. 'Cuz right after that, it shows that we were looking at Joker's Cinematic Record. And I believe those days at the workhouse were the happiest they all have ever been.
There's that Uchiha - I mean, William collecting Joker's soul. ("Nothing of note" = tch. Joker's too special for that halfassed description. Stupid grim reapers.) Ronald joins the soul-collectin' activity. I found it amusing for Will to say stuff like "oh, I'm glad it's you and not you-know-who (Grell). Their relationship is funny. Anyway, W&R handles the souls, as we know and very much expect.
Then there's.........Doll.
WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO THERE? YOU COULD HAVE SAVED YOURSELF! When I saw her horse thundering forward I was like...no. No. NO.
She meets Ciel and Sebastian. They expose the entire Watchdog affair and the death of Joker (and Kelly, of course we're aware of that, I'm already popping open champagne). We can't blame Doll for having an emotional meltdown. She was just slapped in the face with news of her being deceived all along and Joker, who she regards at her big brother, dead and gone forever.)
Doll remembers when Joker gave 'em all stage names and called her "Doll." (D'awww, she's such a tomboy, it's cute.) He even said that she was their little sister and that made her incredibly happy. But the same person that gave her that happiness is gone now. I wouldn't have been able to bear it myself. She swears she won't forgive Ciel and is about to stab him - dammit, it hurts seeing the tears pour from her eyes, even her injured one.
Ciel calls Sebastian's name and it's implied that Doll is killed...godforbid, that Funtom Candy that fell to the ground - that was also my soul.
(Somehow the whole scene impacted me a lot more when I read it in the manga, but most likely 'cuz I already knew this was going to happen so the effect reduced in a sense? Still, episode 8 hit me hard with feels.)
A creepy giggle later, and it's Undertaker talking 'bout taking care of one's soul and twirling the mysterious Claudia P. locket and revealing his unique eyes that give away a lot about himself.
Then from a cliff...
Oh man. Here they are.
At long last...............
QUEENIE'S BUTLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
It made me immediately grin. The lads in white are finally, finally here - they're such an aweshum and super badass group and I'm glad they finally joined the anime crew. Grey's and Phipps's voices are exactly like what I envisioned in my head. And hearing silence from Brownie was also exactly what I imagined - I could say, I'm scarily good at this!
Goddammit...they're so cool. (Now all that's left is the rest of the Midford family!!!!!)
On another note, you have to wonder how Queenie managed to snag all the dudes with naturally(?) silver hair and get 'em to work as her butlers. She is impressive.
Well, I must quickly suppress my fanboy squeal. They're there to report back to the Queen what they see and what Ciel is not planning to tell her: he had all the children burned. Now just like Grey predicted, Ciel will get punished but thaaaat's for later.
And poor Snake!!! I feel extremely bad for him. I mean, the ones who saved him, the first-string members, they all promised to return that day and he waited for 'em faithfully, not knowing that they can never return. He even says he's lonely - it's really sad. I understand that they left him in the dark to retain his innocence in the matter but he's also essentially left out. It always sucks to be "that guy," you know? The one never included. He then wanders off to look for his family...
It could have been a day later or a few days or whatever but Ciel and Sebastian board a train (I know we all thought it but...British people, train........Hogwarts?!) There's a girl that's insanely similar to Missy but you can't ever outmatch the girl with flowers with your petty oranges!!! Just kidding, this kid is cute too but was this a trend for six year old girls with brown pigtails to carry baskets and sell random products? Who knows. Ciel's generous enough to spare a coin for an orange, which Sebastian later cuts and peels as a snack for Ciel.
Turns out Ciel is heading toward the Renbourn Workhouse so that he can get a patron for it. That's the gist of their otherwise complex convo about the arrogance of human beings - well, we all know we're a pretty cocky species. I wouldn't say demons are any less arrogant but ok.
(Speaking of getting a patron, Ciel mentioned Lord Burton...if you need reminding, that's the idiot that introduced Kelly to Vince and Ciel five years ago.)
They get to the rural side of the country and receive a free ride on a cart! Well, Ciel does, Sebastian just walks. Two kids run past 'em singing the Tom the piper's kid thing (which is what the first-string members always sing or hum or play the tune of, etc.) Taken out of context, let's say you're stuck at that place aka in the middle of nowhere, and two kids go past you and continuously sing a Mother Goose song while running to seemingly nowhere without looking at you but you know they know you're there...that would have been a pretty creepy experience. In context, I get that they remind Ciel of the first-string members but just had to point out how potentially creepy that was.
The guy dropped 'em off quite unceremoniously at the bottom of a hill that they have to climb. "Over the hills and faraway......."
They eventually reach the top.....and there it was: debris and rubble. The workhouse was gone a long time ago. Remember that Joker, Beast, Dagger, Doll, Peter, Wendy, and Jumbo killed people, kidnapped countless of innocent children, and committed sins after sins so that they can protect this place and all the orphans there. It's not their obligation to but there were so many sentiments attached to the place they can finally call home that they did not, could not, and would not even consider it being demolished for a second. They wouldn't allow it to happen. But the cruel thing is, they don't have as much influence as they would like - as all humans in that situation would like to think, in order to protect it.
So here's the reality: this stopped existing a long time ago. The very thing they did everything for, they defied their own morals, became inhumane, and shut themselves off to emotions - remember how painful it was for them to kill people but they endured it silently each and every time, thinking they are being courageous, thinking they can brave it out for the sake of the very thing that is hugely important to them. But it's all for nothing.
The orphans that were once here, the ones they called their brothers and sisters, they were ruthlessly killed so that their bones could be donated to that sick ol' Doc. That means those prosthetics that Joker and Beast and Dagger wore...they could have possibly been the bones of their siblings. It's such a twisted, twisted reality.
Ciel finally goes nuts - he cracks up suddenly, thinking the first-string members are so pathetic - and maybe they were foolish for blindly believing Kelly but they didn't have control over the situation.
Ciel goes on 'bout what humans are (I personally don't think humans are that bad - I mean, look at me! I'm wonderful!...despite the apparent arrogance, of course.) And I'm not going to praise and rave about every element 'bout kuro like some careless, superficial fan - so I got to say, I know Sakamoto tried but her laugh just didn't bring out the effect it's supposed to. I understand that Ciel is deranged and going berserk with everything that's happened, and it's probably just me, but the laugh fell flat in highlighting the turmoil going on in him - it sounded a bit too forced, but good effort, good effort!
Though Sebastian's face was priceless. While Ciel is mindlessly barking out "HAHAHA" Sebastian's all just like......ಠ__ಠ
Part of the Tom the piper's son is the top-knot of the hat flying off, and there goes Ciel's. I like how there are heavy references made to the song. I wish we got more insight on how this particular Mother Goose song affected the first-string members so much. It goes along with their story - how they yearned for freedom by "going over the hills and faraway" but it'd be cool to see when they first heard the song and how they became friggin' musical geniuses - Jumbo with his harmonica, Joker being a double-star, playing the flute and having a great singing voice.
AS IF IT WASN'T SAD ENOUGH, IN THE DAMN SKY GHOSTS OF JOKER AND THE REST OF 'EM APPEARED.
That part really got me to acknowledge that those lovable characters are truly and forever gone. (Speaking of the sky, if you rewatch it then think 'bout it while "A Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay is in playing in the background, you might start bawling...so don't.) It showed each of 'em performing their circus tricks...and it also showed Doll being herself and rushing to them, the younger and purer versions of them back in the East End when they only had each other. The fact that they were so happy to finally be together again and that they were all waiting for Doll made me sob even harder. And then they slowly faded away...
I was nearly done at this point.
THE DAMN BEAUTIFUL PIANO MUSIC AT THE END TOO.
Aw come onnnn, I'm sick of all the feels. Utterly sick of 'em.
The very last thing of the episode is Sebastian commenting about how interesting humans are, especially since they never stop pursuing what they want to achieve, they never give up (this is also why you'd have to reject a guy like five times before he finally gets the message).
...Ugh.
I dunno.
Ran out of steam.
What do you guys think of this episode? It's gut-wrenchingly sad. Those damn troupe members are all gone. Forever. The arc is now officially over. And each episode was packed with so many things I can't even begin to describe it! It feels like just yesterday Ciel struggled through the entry test to join the circus. They're all such colorful, memorable characters!
Seriously, the only thing that's keeping me going at this point is the UPCOMING OVA BOOK OF MURDER!!!!!! It's going to be sooooo, so good, especially since LAU & RAN-MAO and GREY and friggin' ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE and TANAKA being badass and all the new characters are gonna be there. The next arc, though it's a continuation of this one, is not about tragedy and the debate over morality issues and all that, it's basically a suspenseful murder mystery. THANK GOD. I am doooooone done done with all these sadass motherfudging deaths. The deaths for the next arc will only keep you holding your breath, not holding back your tears.
I need to take a breather 'cuz this arc was intense and stupefying and astonishing...it's much, much better than what I had ever dreamed of. What a spectacular show.
Can't wait till October for the OVA!!!! Hopefully it's gonna be told through Arthur's POV like it was in the manga 'cuz that was distinctly different and it made things all the more intriguing. I'm seriously so excited for it!!! September was only bearable 'cuz of BOC but now that it's over...how am I going to survive this boring month? Damn HXH 2011 anime is ending too...:(
Anyway, tell me your thoughts on this episode and most importantly on the overall arc 'cuz this will probably be the final post for BOC discussions! It's the time to rant!
(Still so enthused 'bout Book of Murder, man, I wish more info will come out. I can't wait to find out who the other voices are!)
See ya soon! (Maybe when the next chapter comes out!) Lau Talk to me!! What I do 06:34,9/13/2014

Some of the main ways you can assist and contribute to the Great Empire are listed here. Thanks!...So so so so late on this. A week late actually. I'm very sorry!!! 'Tis my unofficial job to keep updated with ep and chap discussions but...here goes the generic reason...hell school has recently returned for me, and I hafta juggle tremendous loads of classwork, homework, projects, activities that evil teachers describe as "fun" when really they're not, community service events, work, college applications and all that soul-sucking stuff.
So yeah, it's been a rough month and it's not even halfway over yet. We'll trudge through it together. Anyway, since I'm incredibly late on episode 9, as it turns out...episode 10 comes out, well today! I haven't watched it yet but I plan to tomorrow and then I'll make a blog post immediately so we can share our thoughts. Since I've been so busy I won't be making any major edits/contributions for a while, and you'll hardly see a shadow of me around, but I've personally obligated myself to at least pop in every now and then to do some minor edits and throw in discussions.
But enough 'bout RL. Let's talk real quick 'bout episode 9.
Dagger and Beast are still exploring the manor, and unbeknownst to 'em Peter, Wendy, and Jumbo are all wiped out already (my heart hasn't quite healed yet...) They run into Bard, Finny, and Mey-Rin, who each flaunt their wicked abilities. (Well, in my opinion, no offense but Bard is admittedly the least impressive of 'em all, I get that he's the most levelheaded to lead the group but otherwise he's just the average American man - in terms of fighting and techniques - equipped with big guns.)
When Dagger and Beast stumble into kitchen, aka Bard's domain, Bard whips out his humongous gun and shoots around sort of indiscriminately (basically doesn't give a shiz on who or what he hits as long as he hits it).
Dagger shields Beast, taking all the blows. It was so heartbreaking to see Dagger go! All he wanted was to take her "over the hill" or to freedom. And it gets even more tragic when Beast couldn't even retaliate in time and Bard blows up the entire kitchen with her caught in the blast. It was really sad when the last person she thought of was Joker. (Though Dagger just sacrificed his life for her, he was pushed to the side in this sense but I understand that she greatly loves Joker.)
Now Dagger, Beast, Peter, Wendy, and Jumbo are all gone. Can you believe it - just a couple of weeks ago, they were fine. Now they're gone forever.
Then...there's Joker himself. At this point I'm so sick of bawling over these amazing characters. There's just so much depth to Joker that seeing him cry and wondering what it would have been like had they been born differently was near unbearable.
Buuuut wait. Here comes Doc. What's irksome is that he's acting completely nonchalant about the entire affair, saying stuff like he ain't a kidnapper and casually ignoring the fact that he's a murderer. He reveals that he was never crippled, he was just fooling Joker and the rest. Then it's shown that the prosthetics he gave Joker and all the other circus troupe members are actually made out of...the children's bones. Poor Joker - he was so nauseated and sickened and horrified at this point that he had a mental breakdown. Really shockingly inhumane of the Doc to do that. But he does raise a good point 'bout everyone blindly praising him and his materials until they know the truth. People can really be easily deceived - we tend to irrationally accept things the way they are without thinking critically.
Doc also talks about how Kelly is his perfect everything 'cuz he understands 'bout beauty and whatnot. He takes poor Missy (noooo!) and stabs her ruthlessly to demonstrate for some reason. Ciel sees this and his trauma seizes him. He then barfs - but his puke isn't yellow bile, it's more like saliva - and awkwardly pants Sebastian's name. (Honestly, I felt highly uncomfortable there with Sebastian holding and hovering over him like this was some kind of ship moment.)
Ciel then snaps out of it and demands that Sebastian kill everyone. So the butler does what he's told. He punctures a hole through Doc - yes, the douchebag dies! - steps on Kelly's head and Joker...well, Joker has already gone silent long before (let me grab that tissue...)
Ciel's not done with being merciless though, and tells Sebastian to light the whole manor on fire without rescuing the children (since they are irretrievably lost both mentally and emotionally at this point). The manor is consumed by flames...
So Joker is down too. (JOKER, NOOOO!)
One last troupe member left (except poor Snake): Doll.
Nothing's gonna end pretty.
Episode 10, the last episode of this fantastic season, has already been released but I will watch it tomorrow and give my commentary. Again, really sorry for the late post - episode 9 probably isn't very relevant anymore since 10 is out but I'll try my best to wrap things up nicely!
Lau Talk to me!! What I do 05:16,9/12/2014
Please consider helping to improve Kuroshitsuji Wiki.
Some of the main ways you can assist and contribute to the Great Empire are listed here. Thanks!Arguably the best episode of the season thus far. I'm so sad/heart-broken, a bit grossed-out, and disturbed right now. I'm probably going to go into a lot of detail 'cuz this fantastic ep deserves some elaboration. That's why I blew up the wiki with a crapload of screenshots! It's really hard to get high-quality pics since friggin' Funimation took all the rights of Kuroshitsuji so I can't rely on Crunchyroll. Most sites don't even offer HD. The ones that do like KissAnime won't lemme watch without disabling AdBlock and like hell is that going to happen. So I had to resort to sort of substandard ways, but that's not the point - the point is I'm gonna include a ton of pics here (but I find that they make blogs seem less wordy and confuzzling, which is always good).
Ok, onto the episode itself. To me, there's two large parts of the ep that makes up its entirety. One focuses on Kelvin, and the other focuses on the troupe members invading the Phantomhive Manor (hold back the tears, Lau, hold 'em in.) So I'm gonna separate this to two parts too. Let's get started!
The episode first starts off with.......Grell Sutcliff.
Whaaaaaaaaat?
That was my reaction at first. He didn't appear in the manga in this arc so it always gives me reason to fear that the anime is just teetering on the edge - as in, it might deviate from the manga after all. (Man was Season 1 and 2 traumatizing.) But after they revealed how Grell is released from confinement and is in charge of collecting the souls at the Phantomhive Manor (foreshadowing, everyone), it came to me that they did mention this in the manga (though briefly): Chapter 35, page 15, folks!. Only in the anime they elaborated on it so kudos! On another note, I never thought much of Ronald before but now I can see he's pretty cool.
But enough 'bout Grim Reapers. Next scene shows Kelvin talking 'bout his history and how he first met Ciel five years ago. Here we go.
Five years ago . . .
Kelvin seems to be a typical, good-natured nobleman with a decent wife and stable career and all that. He's a philanthropist, and as you can guess, all he really wants to talk 'bout are philanthropic causes.
Now in the manga it didn't show this guy but now that it did I found someone to blame for this.
(Wow, that pic turned out nicely.) Burton's the person that introduces Kelvin directly to Vincent and Ciel. And wow, Vincent sounds like Izaya although he's a different voice actor of course. Kelvin falls in love with both of 'em, especially Ciel at first sight 'cuz of how beautiful and gracious they look. It's the Phantomhive genes, a gift and a curse.
But Kelvin's forgotten the second CHLAUS appears. My man, Chlaus! At last, this aweshum guy makes his debut! And he's a blond! Cool! The reunion's pretty sweet though the way Chlaus and Vince hugged amused me - that quick, awkward clap, check out the ep again to see it. That was one of the few, few times this episode was funny, I must say, everything else was daaaark. Chlaus and Vince immediately talk about some shady matter that of course, involves our favorite German man. Kelvin's too overwhelmed by the three of 'em to listen to Burt over there.
After that, Kelly is obsessed and he searches anxiously for more 411 on the Phantomhives. Ended up learning 'bout the Aristocrats of Evil...or Villainous Nobles or Evil Nobleman or even, Wicked Rich People (we can all relate to this). They have a thousand group names to choose from, if only they'll stick to one.
And Diedrich makes his debut. Nooow we're talking!! Deedee wolfs down his sandwiches with his buddy Vince beside him. They're talking 'bout some kind of Watchdog Case, I'll bet, but Kelly interrupts 'em by timidly saying hi to Vince. He must have worked up a lot of courage to do that. Vince tries to be kind but Dee doesn't have that much patience and demands that they talk somewhere else. Vince follows him and Kelly is completely ignored. You would kind of feel bad for him if he didn't decide to make himself hate-able later on. When Dee asks if Vince knows Kelly, Vince says since Kelly attempted to make a conversation with him then "probably." Whoa, ouch! But still a badass comment. Vince already forgot all about Kelly back at the party 'cuz he isn't that significant.
Kelly soon goes on a huge frenzy about how ugly he is - and hey, he has a daughter, didn't know that. He's so desperate he hires Doc to make him beautiful like a doll. (Seriously why do you want to turn to a creepy, plastic thing? Season 1 also had to go on and on about the doll species, ugh.) After several plastic surgeries we see the Kelly we see today - mummified and paralyzed waist-down. His wife left him when she could not take any more of his nauseating obsession. No surprise there.
Then on Ciel's tenth birthday the manor is burned down and Vince and Rachel get killed. Everyone thinks Ciel is dead too, including Kelly and he becomes depressed for a long time until Wart-Face Creepy Bastard whose name is undisclosed says they have bought Ciel (who had survived the fire) and are ready to "play with him." That's very disgusting. Depraved people really are close friends with other depraved people. Kelly wants to join but he can't 'cuz he no longer has legs.
After that he learns that Ciel has killed all of the creeps that tortured him but he's remorseful 'cuz he didn't get to witness any of that. So of course the bastard wants to recreate the entire thing.
Here's the epic part. Ciel shoots Kelvin! The bastard deserves it!
Now here's the...gruesome part. Joker is horrified and rushes to kill Ciel...but then Sebastian slices off his arm. I know this already happened in the manga but believe me, I cringed anyway. It was so bloody that it got censored. Then he falls to the ground and starts screaming and dammit, I felt incredibly bad for him. He begs Ciel to spare Kelly - and dammit, these loyalass circus troupe members are gonna make me cry. He explains how Kelly saved 'em from East End, from poverty and death, and gave 'em limbs and the strength to move on, and goddammit...there's really no completely good/evil black/white characters, which makes it impossible to hate Joker.
Joker admits he and the others have done wrong for kidnapping children for their own sake but Ciel gives a powerful speech on how he has not done wrong for he has done his best to protect "his world" and that there are only two kinds of people in this world: those who steal and those who are stolen from. And he finishes it by saying "today, I steal your futures."
The feels came quickly.
Joker almost loses it and laughs without humor that they are about to steal something precious from Ciel as well (i.e. Lizzie) 'cuz the troupe is storming over to his manor. But then Ciel and Sebastian think nothing of the threat, since no other than the Phantomhive servants are protecting it!
Now onto the second half of the episode...which is also the half that broke my heart in half.
The second half of the episode shifts its focus to Peter, Wendy, Jumbo, Dagger, and Beast who just freshly arrived at the manor. (I dunno why I thought Peter's voice was weird before, now that I've heard it often he really adjusted to the character and it fits him.)
First things first, they split up. You should never do that ever in anything - nor should you underestimate anybody.
Jumbo goes alone (whyyyy?). He stumbles upon Finny (I'm surprised his voice actor is the same as Eren Jaeger and Alibaba Saluja? What the?) Jumbo tries to kill him quickly but Finny is near-invincible since he's equipped with a sturdy body and superhuman strength. He slams Jumbo into the wall - and god, the fountain of blood was a horrendous sight. Joker's last breath is spent on warning his dear siblings to run, which only makes me sadder.
Peter and Wendy see this and they are outraged that Finny killed Jumbo (I would have been too). Their trapeze abilities and enviable flexibility are no joke, it was amazing. Although Finny is stronger their advantage is their unbeatable agility. While they are running away though, Finny goes on about how he's very grateful to Ciel for rescuing him - the momentum of the speech was minimized, so to speak, 'cuz Peter and Wendy were too preoccupied with running to listen - not to mention the fact that they frankly don't care - and I was too busy watching 'em to pay much attention myself. At least it demonstrates Finny's determination and his reason for defending the manor so earnestly.
Finny climbs up a wall to get to them and they jump down, prepared to decapitate - I believe - Finny with their string...
But then.
The.
Horror.
Happened.
Wendy gets shot right through the temple and the bullet goes out the other side.
She falls to the ground with a sickening thump!
Peter's shocked face when he realizes his partner is gone forever - great, more tears. He rushes to her but goddamn Mey-Rin is merciless with her bullets and she forces him to abandon his best friend's body to run for cover.
I really appreciate the focus on Peter for the remainder of the episode 'cuz he's just not some troupe member. He's smart and intelligent and astute, and he's quick mentally and physically. He discovers a ton of rifles and thinks Ciel keeps an army. But after Mey-Rin continues to assault him relentlessly he finds out that there's only one sniper and the rifles are there to cut down the loading time.
Peter somewhat panicked at this point as his strategy was not thought through enough, and he impulsively set his string to the other side of the manor to swing over and run for safety. Only while he swings across did it come to him that hey, even though Mey-Rin is letting loose a lot of bullets...Wendy's death could not have been a lucky shot 'cuz it was scarily accurate...which means, Mey-Rin can shoot him down from basically any given distance or angle.
Once he realizes that it's too late and Mey-Rin shoots him.
The sound of a window breaking wakes Lizzie up. She's worried but Tanaka says she just dreamed of it and tells her to go back to sleep.
Damn ending song came in just at the right moment to make you suffocate with agonizing feels. Right behind Tanaka is something that crashed through the window.......
Animating the darkest and most tragic arc in the manga has been a brilliant idea. It gets increasingly breathtaking in every episode as the show inches closer to its peak. This has wholly revived the deep emotional attachment I feel with each troupe member. They were selfish, yes, for being willing to risk other people's lives to protect their own...but really, if you think about it, they grew up depending only on each other. That was, in essence, their "world." No one helped them except Kelvin, who became their sole source of refuge so it's no surprise seeing how devoted they are to him. Carrying out his orders has led to their survival and that's why they keep on doing it - it's the only way they know how to survive all this time. Even abandoning him will make them unbearably guilty and even lost 'cuz he bestowed them with the opportunity to pick themselves again. That changed drastically later on, of course, as even Joker said they had to lived in a different kind of hell but the loyalty is still intact.
That's why they are ultimately the victims. Growing up invisible, ignored, and stepped upon and then given life only to use it to take away others'...man, their existence was cruel. In the end only they can fully understand each other - they are each other's family and seeing them utterly in despair when their family members slowly die one by one kills me.
The star of this episode is hands-down Peter. I love this little guy. First he hears Jumbo's final cry - and even in Jumbo's last breath all he ever thinks about is if the rest of his family will make it out alive. Next he sees Jumbo's corpse and out of anger, sadness, and hatred he seeks revenge against Finny. But Wendy...oh god, Wendy, who has lived her whole life with him and suffers the same condition as he and thus is the one Peter feels most strongly for...she dies instantly and right next to him and he can't even run to her. Then Peter's basically all alone. But he wasn't even given time to mourn, he has to move fast or he will die. He has to push away all those thoughts and be courageous enough to think, to act. If it were me I would have broken down and never get up again.
That's why, this episode goes out to Peter. Wendy and Jumbo as well.
Saw the preview. I guess I'll cry even more next episode. At this point it's already sad enough. I had to show this episode to others and believe me, it shocked and horrified everybody. I'll try to be brave for the last two episodes but after that, I'll just drown in feels somewhere in Tartarus.
Comments for this soul-sucking, funereal, and ruthlessly cruel episode are appreciated...just keep 'em clean.
Brb, crying till next week. See you then.

Some of the main ways you can assist and contribute to the Great Empire are listed here. Thanks!I'm incidentally listening to really cheery music right now - which is unsuitable considering how dark and frightening this episode was. But maybe I need the upbeat music 'cuz that was sickening. 'Twas a very good episode that emphasized how this arc is filled to the brim with despair and horror.
And you know why?
'CUZ KELVIN IS HERE. Kelvin has finally made his debut and he is as depraved as he is in the manga. And can I just say he perfected that pedophile voice down to a science. Fantastic performance, his voice actor has officially established him as an utter creep. I swear, late at night if I hear his voice in my head I will weep. (Who's his voice actor, does anyone know?)
So after Joker and Kelvin talk back and forth, they come to the conclusion that Smile = Ciel, Ciel = Smile. Kelvin fanboy squeals and forces an unhappy Joker to take a photo with him. His "you're a good boy - no, you're a bad boy - but wait, you're a good boy again" is really weird. It's terrible for Joker, he has to put up with Kelvin's evil schemes 'cuz he owes Kelvin his life and he wants to protect the other children at the workhouse. (Not that he doesn't deserve punishment for his crimes though.)
Btw Joker also sings a little Mother Goose tune, which was great. The download link will be available soon in iTunes, I hope.
Wendy comforts Beast by claiming that she will see Joker "tomorrow".........well, I'm sorry, sister, but - no, it's best if we wait until the next couple of episodes to discuss this. And I appreciate the moment with the first-string members, how everything seems fine on the surface with Dagger thinking he goes on a lot of dates with Beast, Jumbowee killing his vibe, Snake suggestively saying he'll keep his bed warm while he's gone, and Petah going along with that joke. Poor Snake has no idea what's actually going on nor does he know about the secret missions the other first-string members carry out - they want to keep him innocent which I think is very nice of 'em to do. Knowing Snake he'll probably join in on the killings if they order him to, 'cuz he respects 'em that much since they saved him from being used like a tool and treated like dirt. And that's why, for 'em to keep him "in the dark" about this actually retains his "light" so to speak...(that was lame play on words, I know).
Well, Ciel recovers so that means the plot will advance. Kind of freaky and slightly cool how Agni can perfectly sync with what Soma is saying. Soma insists that Sebastian spoil Ciel, yadda ya, Sebastian tries to but that only disgusts Ciel, which was pretty funny. Also turns out, Lizzie is at Ciel's manor and well, #girlfriendwantshimhome so Ciel has to hurry. Lizzie is an aweshum character and all that, especially in the manga, but this is the first time she has returned to the anime for a looong time and that means it's the first time I heard her voice for a looong time. And man, it was a little too squeaky for my liking - I had earphones on, and...yikes.
Ciel tells Sebastian to get him to Kelvin's manor in under an hour. High expectations but good ol' Sebastian is reliable. They manage to pass by Soma (who's just being an obstacle as per usual) - but the way they ran was hilarious and someone, anyone, please make a gif of that.
At Kelly's manor, Joker is the one who takes Smile and Black - I mean, Ciel and Sebastian in, which must have been incredibly awkward. I felt bad in the manga and I feel bad now, when Joker sympathizes with Ciel and the burden he's carrying but Ciel trivializes and dismisses him as a servant who's basically not good enough to talk to him. I get that Ciel doesn't want to be pitied or looked down upon, but he stepped all over Joker and if I were Joker at that instance I would have snapped so kudos to Joker for brushing that off. That remark must have stung though.
At dinner, Kelly reunites with Ciel and he's bouncing out of pure joy. Stalker purposely selected a wine from Ciel's birth year. I repeat: Stalker purposely selected a wine from Ciel's birth year.
Here comes the most nauseating part of the episode: Kelly wants entertainment. So Joker has to put on a show...using those children (remember those missing/kidnapped children? - they're all here in Kelly's manor). The children must have been drugged on a regular basis 'cuz now they cannot process any intelligent thought and they move like robots. They just do whatever they're told. And that's why it's so gruesome.
First part of the entertainment is tightrope walking. There's no safety net and the child falls to her death. And can I just say, that thud when she crashes to the ground was so horrific I cringed. Next is the lion taming act - don't be fooled, there's no taming involved, they simply allow the lion to eat the child. After that is knife throwing and of course none of the kids are professionals and they're just supposed to throw knives and kill each other, but Sebastian manages to rescue the child before she gets stabbed. Throughout this entire thing, it's important to note that Joker is wincing and blanching 'cuz he really, really loathes having to let and watch innocent children die and present those deaths like it's all just for a show - and to his boss, it probably is. Joker has morals, yes, but he doesn't have the courage to resist Kelvin's control - as much as I like his character, I understand that he is just as guilty for forfeiting other children's lives to protect his "family," you can say, at the workhouse. And unsurprisingly, Kelly is giggling like crazy during this performance, and that reminds everybody to hate the shiz out of him. I certainly hate him.
Well, Ciel makes a badass speech about disposing of Kelly - his description of him: "foul, vulgar, unsightly, perverted brute." I approve of that statement 100%. He's definitely a FVUP brute. (If you think about it F-VUP sounds like "effed up." Coincidence? Me thinks no.) When Ciel points a gun at Kelly though, Joker attacks Ciel and gets attacked by Sebastian, so they're all in a locked situation until Kelly, who's very concerned and obsessive about Ciel's happiness, tells Joker to stahp.
Ciel demands for the other kidnapped children and that's when Kelly makes 'em go down to his cellar. During the trip there, Kelly starts spouting some disturbing stuff - Creep says meeting Ciel is like a dream. I repeat: Creep says meeting Ciel is like a dreeeeeam. Gross.
Well, there's something Kelly desires very strongly to show Ciel, something that he has regretted missing out on three years ago. And this is what it is: a replica of the place Ciel was tortured for a month (we don't have a name for "that place," sadly)! The guy wants to repeat everything that happened there!! WTF! Ciel is already having flashbacks - poor boy, he's traumatized enough as it is.
(Oh and Missy is back! But she's in a really bad state now.)
Next episode will finally feature Kelly's history with Ciel and how he got so obsessed with him. And we'll get to see Vincent and Diedrich! Very exciting.
We have about three more episodes to go! Can't wait to see the ending for this! (I've been anticipating Grey, Phipps, and Brownie making their debut and I know Doggy and Michee and stuff are too!)
Basically what we can take from this episode is...Kelly is a FVUP brute, and Joker can quite possibly pursue a singing career. Forgot to mention but "over the hills and far away" just breaks my heart 'cuz of the significance it holds. (It'll be obvious later with Dagger...I don't want to cry yet so I won't go into detail.)
Comments are appreciated, just keep 'em clean! See ya next week!

Some of the main ways you can assist and contribute to the Great Empire are listed here. Thanks!First off, look up the pronunciation for liaison (basically sounds like this: lee-eyy-zan). This is definitely my new fav word and a way for me to sound super intelligent and French-y. In case you guys dunno, I'll save you the googling time, this is what it means: Communication or cooperation that facilitates a close working relationship between people or organizations. Who says anime can't make you any smarter??
Onto the episode itself. The season is more than halfway over now, and things are really picking up. In the beginning, we got a sick Ciel experiencing a ton of nightmares from when his parents died to when he was captured. He even remembered Madam Red (WE LOVE YOU, MADAM RED) being Jack the Ripper and stuff, interesting.
William, the usual prick, gets in a fight with Sebastian, and the way Sebastian dodges those attacks is extremely cool. He defies gravity, that man. Then he shows his dedication as a butler, stopping the scythe barehanded...or rather glovehanded. Speeeeeaking of gloves - oh never mind, we'll get to that part later.
Now a Joker x Beast moment. Beast tries to stop Joker from leaving to see the Worst Father in the Universe, but of course he says nah. So she starts to get desperate huggin' him and everything and is so damn close to saying she loves him, but Joker doesn't want to go through that so he just gives her his scarf and says adios instead. Beast got majorly friendzoned...or circus-mate-zoned/strictly childhoodfriend-zoned here. And is it just me or the bodies are sort of unproportionate during this scene? Like their heads are way bigger than their bodies. Or maybe it's just Beast's ginormous hair.
Well, after Joker leaves Sebastian makes his appearance (oh yeah, forgot to mention, he is seeking another way to attain info 'cuz Will won't let him leave the circus). So Sebastian seduces her to enjoy the night with him, she plays hard-to-get for a bit but eventually becomes putty in his hands (or falls prey to his sweet words without noticing the monster behind the mask, like Will dramatically says). Interestingly enough, Beast remembers a part where Joker had to kill a guy 'cuz of the Worst Father in the Universe, and well, the sad look on Joker's face, man, I feel so bad for him.
WARNING: THIS PART IS WHEN THINGS GET STEAMY.
Now in the manga I didn't think much of it 'course 'cuz there were no sounds. Buuuut ok, different story now. I will not feature any pics from this scene.
Beast is tellin' bout how Joker grew distant from 'em 'cuz their stupid father forces him to murder/kidnap and stuff like that. Now Sebastian wants to know who this father guy is, and well, basically the reason why Beast is admitting everything right now is 'cuz Sebastian is touching her and doing other sexual things. And damn, Beast's voice actress, how awkward could that have been. On another note, Beast looks pretty without her headband to make her hair look abnormally big.
I should probably stop judging her hair...But it's so big. Ok, I'll stop now.
After this...intimate session - Sebastian even says they're on intimate terms now, lol - Sebastian takes Ciel back to the townhouse. Ciel notices he's not wearing his gloves and Sebastian says it's 'cuz it got a "bit dirty" (heh, we know what's up, Seb).
In the townhouse, Soma gets on Ciel's case aaaagain, I know he's just being a caring friend but sheesh, it sometimes gets on my nerves. Soma and Agni insist that Ciel recovers before he does anything drastic, yadda ya, Seb goes along with their plans, blah blah. Oh, and Sebastian tells Ciel that the father's name is actually Baron Kelvin. Hold onto that name, folks, you'll hate it soon enough!
Sebastian tells Ciel they can do everything tomorrow - this is gonna be like the recurring thing this episode.
Petah yells at Doll for being so foolish to trust Ciel and stuff. Jumbowee tries to reason with him. They all basically decide to take action and get Father's target - which is Ciel Phantomhive, but they dunno that that's Smile yet 'cuz they think he might be with the useless Scotland Yard. They need someone to relay their plans to Joker, and Beast is feeling guilty 'cuz she gave away important info to Sebastian so she volunteers. Wendy is harsh here by sayin' that they need Beast with 'em 'cuz she's useful so "let's send Doll instead!" Poor Doll/Freckles!! Beast is being sisterly, helping her on her horse but that's mostly 'cuz she's reeeally guilty now.
So anyway, Petah says they'll do everything tomorrow. William talks 'bout how everything will end tomorrow. Then Sebastian just has to re-emphasize that everything will end tomorrow.
Well...can't wait for tomorrow! Or more accurately next week!
And ooh, I see William's soul collection list!! So HE dies February 9, 1889, huh...I'm seriously going to be so sad later on.
Get ready for Kelvin, folks, he will...no spoilers, dammit, but...just prepare yourselves.
(And Dagger being so sweet givin' Beast a flower. And noooo, Seb threw away the candy Freckles gave Ciel, noooooooo. He obviously doesn't ship 'em, haha.)
See you guys next week!

Some of the main ways you can assist and contribute to the Great Empire are listed here. Thanks!I'll tryta make this quick since I'm exhausted and not in the spirit to ramble. (I can already hear your cries of "Thank goodness!" lmao)
Ciel and Sebastian wantsa search the private tents of the first-string members. But Sebastian hasta go perform 'cuz poor Wendy twisted her ankle. So brave Ciel goes off by himself but has Sebastian tie Snake's snakes into knots first.
(Btw I find it cute how Ciel clumsily goes 'round doing labor and how when he listens to orders he gives this lil' innocent "Hai!" Haha.)
While Ciel is searching, Sebastian gets stuck performing with William. And Will, being a stubborn lil' prick, refuses to hold his hands so Sebastian is forced to somehow put on a spectacular show anyway. He manages of course 'cuz it's Sebastian.
Meanwhile poor Ciel is being a hardworker, snoopin' through people's stuff. He finds a photograph of the first-string members when they were lil' (ain't they cute! 'cept THAT MAN - no spoilers! - and well, Jumbo is Jumbo). He realizes from the workhouse clue that they were orphans and that THAT MAN is prob a philanthropist - I can never spell this word. Also, THAT MAN has a crest on his signet ring that's the same as the hallmark on Beast's prosthetic leg and so connection's obvious there.
Beast's top conveniently breaks apart and she hasta go back to the tent where Ciel is conveniently at. Enter Beast. Gone Ciel. Sebastian saves him in time. Beast basically changes in front of 'em - heh - and then she goes. Sebastian says they might not have enough time but Ciel is determined to search Joker's tent too. So off Sebastian goes for the encore while Ciel searches Joker's tent.
Ciel finds a letter that's not even placed well beneath the pillow. It's written by Tom the piper's son - everything here is related to Mother Goose. He opens it up is - SHOCKING NEWS - the whole thing is about HIM! He must have been mindeffed, I mean the secret stalker is also being stalked. Craaazy.
But crap, the first-string members are returning and so Ciel tryta run for it. But the snakes from earlier were released by Sebastian so he's nearly screwed but Doll saves him.
THEN HERE'S THE REVELATION.
Doll = Freckles!
Of course I read the manga so I wasn't surprised in the least but it's funny to see comments of ppl going WTF, I DID NOT EXPECT THIS! Even afta this, some ppl don't believe Doll/Freckles is a girl but ok.
Anyway Ciel pretends to be a thief to get away from all of this. He and Doll make a pact to keep it a secret but Ciel doesn't trust her 'cuz all humans lie. (Whaaa? P-pfft, no!)
Ciel later yells at Sebastian for releasing the snakes but Sebastian defends himself by saying Ciel did order it afta all. Being the badass troll that he is, he's like this to Ciel: "Problem?" Haha.
They go outside to talk afta Will acts like an OCD arse. Ciel talks 'bout what he saw, blah blah, and then he barfs! Whoooa. It's like a chalky greyish color. Poor Ciel! It must have been that single bread he got in the last ep!
Sebastian and Freckles (I like this better than Doll somehow, her true personality which is reflected in Freckles is more fun than stoic Doll) get Doctor to take care of Ciel. Poor Ciel remembers MADAM RED (HOW I'VE MISSED YOU!) tending to him (along with Rachel and lil' Lizzie) the last time he had an asthma attack. "Aunt An" - awwwww, my feels. And aww, poor Freckles is feeling guilty for the tub bath scene last ep. Again that slight Ciel x Freckles feels for me is returning!
That aside, sneaky Snake informs Joker, Petah, and Jumbowee that Ciel and Sebastian had invaded their tents. They get highly suspicious - but then it comes to question, haven't any second-string members ever triedta sneak into their tents before? But I suppose it's their ability to get past the snakes that is especially surprising. Joker goes to see FATHER! The rest are ready to take action. Poor Freckles being called a fool when she's really just kind.
So Ciel sends Sebastian to find out who THAT MAN is. (I was really looking forward to - SPOILER ALERT - Ciel waking up shocked to find Freckles sleepin' and snorin' next to him 'cuz that was funny in the manga but all in due time, all in due time.)
Sebastian tries to go outside the camp but stubborn prick Will blocks 'im......AGAIN. Aw, c'mon! This guy. It annoys you more since he's doing so in Sasuke's voice. I dunno, it just does to me, lol.
Which brings up another question, why is Will always manifestin' as the cliffhanger? Since I already know what's gonna happen next, I'm not dying of suspense, but things are certainly going to pick up from here, folks! (I ended up ramblin' a bit, my apologies.)
Till next time!

Some of the main ways you can assist and contribute to the Great Empire are listed here. Thanks!Wooow, first day of August already. Can't believe it but school is just a month away...Time to plunge back into severe depression. Well, we're back this week with Episode 4!
And really, I just can't get enough of the opening, it's on repeat, seriously. Really aweshum graphics and compelling music. SID's done it again, everybody! Oh, and I love the animation of the circus. I dunno the tents and lights at night, it all looks so cool. It's much better than what I expected when I read the manga.
Now onto the actual episode. We start off with Sebastian and Will, who despise each other, talking. Will reveals that they're gonna collect a lotta soul in the area soon which means...death and more death. Then comes the negotiations: Will will not interfere with Ciel and Sebastian's business, and they will not interfere with Will's. Deal. (On another note: Will and Grell graduated together! Not that I don't already know though, haha.) And Ciel! Dagger is not obnoxious! He's super cool!
Also 'round 4:17 of the ep though, when Sebastian says that he's "on a lead at the moment," pretty sure the "lead" is supposed to be "leash."
Then yay, they get assigned tent-mates! Sebastian and Will together, they really hate this. Then there's Ciel together with this new guy Freckles. Hold onto his name, folks, he's gonna be very impt soon.
The scene moves on to Freckles tryna befriend Ciel by giving him the candy that he - ironically - made. (Funtom Company product.) And Will marks his territory in the tent and basically won't let Sebastian roam around at night. Funny how Will immediately establishes that Sebastian will sleep on the top bunk.
Even though I'm not explaining this in the right order, let's get this outta the way first. Ciel struggles endlessly to adapt to the poor life. Freckles tryta get him through the motions but it doesn't work out too well. (So kind of Freckles to share his food, haha.) Next, shower scene - so all the guys hafta bathe together, and Ciel is horrified. Jumbo and Dagger are there, interestin' - considering Dagger's outgoing personality, I truly expected him to say something at least. Freckles tryta get Ciel to remove his clothes, Ciel wouldn't. Stuff happens and Freckles topples over on him and lifts his shirt. There's his slave brand! Ciel runs off and is found by Sebastian. Soon Ciel remembers that he's the head of the Phantomhive family - he suddenly recalls this a lot both in the manga and anime - and decides that they're getting the hell outta there the moment they're done with the chiz going on there.
Speaking of the chiz going on there, this happens in the middle of the episode but I wanted to save it till now to talk 'bout it 'cuz it's very interesting. I gotta say, I panicked when that lil' girl and Ronald Knox popped up in the preview last ep - I thought something stupid was gonna occur with 'em not following the manga. But no, this is an elaboration on what the first-string members of the circus really do, and I appreciate the insight on this.
So a lil' girl is selling flowers, her mum won't let her go home till she sells all of 'em. (Why flowers?) And coincidentally she only has one bundle left and a nice officer (I like him already!) buys it for her 'cuz she reminds him of his daughter Emily. D'aww.
Then she skips off alone into an alleyway in the dead of the foggyass night while grinning-
Ok first of all...you don't do that. You don't do that esp if you are like at most 6 years old. That's just not safe. And it's common sense that it's not safe. The Nice Cop from earlier, although he has expressed his worry 'bout kids getting kidnapped, could have at least...I dunno...walked her home??? Even if it's halfway? You know? I'm sure it won't affect his patrol so much. (Though tbh, I thought the girl was a lil' bit creepy at first 'cuz no 6 years old ever walked up to me at 2am begging me to buy flowers.) Her mother (though she must be desperate for her ill boy Jimmy) is awful for forcing a lil' girl like that to walk 'round in the middle of the night even though there's been kidnappings going on.
And what also irks me is that her bro(?) Jimmy gets a name but she doesn't?? I'll just call her missy since that's what Nice Cop does.
Missy runs through the alleyway (everything screams BAD CHOICE at this point), sees a Noah's Ark Circus poster (which actually looks cool), and gets distracted by Joker's flute music. When she flinches for a bit I thought she's smart enough to be suspicious and run. But, she goes closer instead. Joker impresses her with some neat tricks, and I swear the sparkles that come outta the flowers he gave her must have had a hallucinogenic (thank you, autocorrect) drug effect 'cuz from that moment on that Missy is gone in the head, she has absolutely no sense of logic left in her.
She gets amazed by all these wonderful tricks the other troupe members put on. (The music that goes with this scene is really aweshum and chilling; I'mma find that soundtrack.) Now that the girl is high and stupefied, she's told to go on this carriage that will supposedly take her to dreeeeeeamland (amber alert!)
(Come on, Missy, pull it together, think of Jimmy! Think of proud Mummy!)
And awww, Nice Cop just hadta be the one to discover that Missy is getting kidnapped. He runs over to save her buuuut Jumbo hits his head with a hammer - and dude! all the blood that poured outta his head!!! Oh man. The really, really twisted part here is that Missy thinks he's some kinda bear and that when he gets killed the blood is just confetti. And it's really perverse that the troupe got her to think that. It's worse that she's just clapping through this entire thing - "Spiffing," she says...Spiffing - while the other officers tryta save her but get brutally killed. (One other thing, poor Emily!!! Her father!)
Missy jumps on her carriage and off she goes. That one officer with the walrus mustache survives however and tryta shoot at the carriage, but Doll stops him. Doll struggles to kill him though 'cuz she at least still has a sense of morals. Joker easily murders him - god, the 'stache guy's eyes just inflated at the attack, urgh - and tells Doll not to hesitate. Jeez, excuse her for having principles. (Still, Joker, I get why you're like that, and you're still an aweshum character.)
Next morn, poor Freddo arrives late to the massacre - like, hours late. C'mon, get it together. (Where's Randall?) And then there's Ronald Knox ready to rox his sox at a party (no, I'm not ashamed) afta finishing his soul collection.
And that is the conclusion to an epic story starring Missy and Nice Cop - with references to Emily and Jimmy - and featuring the troupe, Freddo, Ronald Rox my Sox Knox, 'Stache, and the other insignificant officers/extras! Seriously, great addition, didn't expect it to be so intriguing! But it was! And the deaths were so gory and everything fitted together well! It added to the creepy atmosphere by a ton.
And guess the animators didn't have the patience to draw out the whole are the Noah's Ark Circus really involved in the kidnappings? what do they really do? thing that the manga kinda did. It's obvious now that the first-string members are sinners here (well, Doll still hesitates and Snake is not involved at all) but that's fine, it was gonna be revealed soon anyway.
Faaaantastic ep! Can't wait till next week!
BONUS!
Loads of time in my hands!
