Baldroy Jr. is a lively, cheerful child, with fair hair like his father and freckles like his mother. He enjoys playing outdoors and pretending to be a famous gunfighter.

History

Baldroy Jr. pretends to be a gunfighter.

Baldroy Jr. was born in America to farmer Baldroy and rancher Joanna. He often played outdoors, where he would get covered in mud; he would pretend to be a famous gunfighter with his slingshot.

Baldroy Jr. compliments Joanna's food.

One day, over dinner, Baldroy and Joanna discussed the worsening conflict between the farmers and the natives. Baldroy Jr. commented that, even if someone were to attack them, they would be safe because of Joanna's excellent food; it always made Baldroy smile, and thus it could make anyone smile. His parents laughed.

Baldroy Jr.'s death.

Eventually, the village was attacked by the natives. Baldroy Jr. and Joanna were killed, and their house was set on fire.

Plot

Baldroy reunites with Baldroy Jr. and Joanna.

While bleeding out and experiencing a dreamlike state, Baldroy visualizes being in field of wheat, where Baldroy Jr. approaches him with his slingshot. Shortly afterward, they return home, where Baldroy Jr. hugs Joanna as she speaks with Baldroy. Baldroy explains that he is a chef for an aristocrat, and that he enjoys working alongside the other Phantomhive servants. He adds that he can make fried eggs now, to Baldroy Jr.'s delight, and promises to make all the fried eggs that he wants. Suddenly, the ground crumbles beneath Baldroy, who calls out to Baldroy Jr. and Joanna, but Sebastian Michaelis interposes himself between them and lets Baldroy fall.
