The Butler, Panicked (その執事、恐慌, Sono Shitsuji, Kyōkō) is Chapter 205 of the Kuroshitsuji manga.
Summary[]
Snake asks Doll what she is doing in the secret basement room and what has happened to her. Before Doll can say anything, the chief says that she is being treated for an illness. The chief proposes to explain everything in detail to them upstairs with a cup of tea, but Theodore calls her out for lying: He heard that she, Susan, and another maid talked about having fledged Ginny to provide "material" for Canopus—who appears to be Doll.
The chief then spots the jars with organs the elder students are carrying and realizes that it must have been Theodore's idea to take them. Lamenting how "troublesome" it is when children have too high of an aptitude, the chief pulls a gun from her skirt. She fires at Theodore but Finnian manages to push him away on time; the bullet hits Finnian's shoulder instead. Finnian takes Artie's and Theodore's jars and throws them at Susan and the chief to buy the elder students time to flee. However, before Theodore, Mabel, Oliver, and Artie can escape, Doll takes a glass shard and jumps over them, blocking their way. She states that she cannot allow them to leave, as they know too much.
Snake, speaking on his own for once, shakily wants to know if Doll is truly one of the "stars." Doll apologizes for lying to him and adds that he is "the one person" she did not want to find out that she had become a monster. She then reveals that she died at Kelvin Manor, having been murdered by Ciel and Sebastian. They killed Kelvin and Joker too while Baldroy, Mey-Rin, and Finnian slaughtered Beast, Dagger, Wendy, Peter, and Jumbo.
Doll emphasizes that the Phantomhives have been lying to him and that she is his family before she asks Snake to join her so that they can take revenge on the Phantomhives together.
