The Butler, Imploring is Chapter 192 of the Kuroshitsuji manga.
Summary[]
William extends his Death Scythe and to pierce Al and shove her away from Ronald. When Al tries to free herself from the pruner's grip, William slams her into the ground before he adjusts his glasses and tells her not to trouble him anymore. Al can only mumble that she will get him the next time before she loses consciousness.
Ronald thanks William for rescuing him, and William scolds him for not being able to handle a human; he would have understood if it was a demon, but considering that the Retrieval Division exists for unexpected situations, dealing with a mere human should not be difficult. Ronald replies that Layla/Al is not an ordinary human but a Bizarre Doll and that she was able to stop his Death Scythe with a scissor blade. As a Death Scythe can cut everything but another Death Scythe, this cirumstance worries Ronald and William. While Ronald complains about how difficult everything has become, William calmly takes the other scissor blade from Layla's hand and wraps it in a tissue.
William tells Ronald that he will report everything to the "brass"—this includes Ronald's incompetence. Disgruntled, Ronald asks William why he is even here; after all, he did not even send him a pigeon message. William says that Ronald did not send his daily report for two days, and that he does not want Ronald to increase his already high workload. He then adds that he will take Layla to forensics and suggests Ronald to return to headquarters as well to submit his reports. Furthermore, ever since the existence of Bizarre Dolls has been confirmed, the "brass" ordered to place more focus on finding deserters. William notes that it was time to bring the matter to an end.
In Norfolk, Finnian is amazed to see a windmill, though he does not know what it is. Snake tells him that it is a windmill; its power is used to grind wheat into flour. Finnian wants to climb the windmill but Snake stops him. They then continue on their way, and Finnian wonders what an orphanage is like; Snake tells him it is a terrible place. Shortly afterward, they arrive at the F.O.L. Orphanage. Upon seeing the building, both Finnian and Snake note that they have seen it before, though they cannot place when and how.
Snake then shakes out most of his snakes out his bag and orders them to find out if anything is suspicious. While Finnian wishes the snakes good luck for their little mission, Snake remembers what Sebastian told them in the opium den: This is an undercover mission and they need to play the role Sebastian wrote for them so that their true identities will not be discovered.
Finnian goes to the front door and knocks. When a woman opens the door, Finnian immediately rattles down the character setup Sebastian gave him. This perplexes the woman, and Snake promptly covers Finnian's mouth with his hand and pulls him back. Snake tells the woman that they heard they could get bread here and asks her to take them in. The woman is surprised to hear that as they did not expect new "family members." In this moment, another woman arrives who wants to know what is going on. Snake says that he and Finnian came all the way from London in search for food and shelter. If they will not take them in, they will have to hang themselves. The second woman ponders over it and then suggests they take the "test" at least. After all, one of the children from the advanced class was recently fostered out; they could welcome Snake and Finnian if they display the right "aptitude." The first woman agrees, and they let Snake and Finnian come inside.
Meanwhile, Wordsworth is caught by a mysterious person.
