ALL POSTSIs there a reason why Kurausu's official name on this wiki is Chlaus?
<p>I'm really new to this whole wiki thing, but I am a big enthusiast of Kuroshitsuji. The versions of the manga I read translate Kurausu's name as either Klaus or Clause (the former making the most sense, as Kurausu is Italian, and his name is Japanese is as stated in the title - Kurausu).
</p><p>So, is there a specific reason why Kurausu is titled Chlaus on here?

<p>Hi, thanks for asking! The reason why he is called Chlaus on this wiki is because that is Yen Press' official translation (as opposed to Klaus or Clause which are fan translations) and as of one or two years ago, we have been making sure that all articles here are consistent with Yen Press editions of the manga.

<p>Tsumi got to this faster than I could. But yeah we loyally follow the translations of Yen Press! Though to be honest I don't like the name Chlaus (sounds awkward to say) but at least it's not Clause - 'cuz that makes me think of grammar (independent clause vs dependent clause).
